Do orphans live at Bright Vision Orphan Care?
No. Bright Vision is an organization meant to support orphaned and vulnerable children, along with their families and community, through our different programs.
How is BVOC funded?
We are funded through financial support given by individuals, churches, and Christian ministries. For the past few years we have held a golf fundraiser in CA during the summer. In Malawi, we also receive some food stuff and “in kind” donations from other local organizations working within Malawi.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! Bright Vision is a registered 501(c)3 in the USA.
What language is spoken in Malawi?
There are dozens of languages and dialects spoken throughout Malawi. In the Chamadenga area it is mostly Chichewa.
Where is Chamadenga village?
Chamadenga village is about 40 minutes southeast of the capital city of Lilongwe in the country of Malawi.
