Last year, The Grove Community Church in Riverside, CA asked what they could do to help at Bright Vision as part of their 2021 Love Offering (supporting special projects for their ministry partners around the world). We asked for help with the upcoming year’s feeding program and also to help us build a home for a family in dire need of better shelter (picture of old house below). After speaking to the chiefs, they recommended a widow (Sarah) who was taking care of some of her grandchildren. They were living in a very small and very run-down house shared by several people. The Grove sent this money in April, Stanley and the team went to work, and the house was finished within a month! On the 29th of May we met at the home and the village was there to welcome us with song and dance. There were speeches given, an official handover of the home, and prayer for God’s blessing.
